In loving memory of Chantelle Jacqueline Meyer, CJ, Ceej Tank, Sister; May 29, 1986 – June 1, 2017. To begin to describe someone so genuine and rare, unparalleled by her wild and caring traits, would require a compendium of such enormous length. ‘The Adventures of Ceej Tank: Volume 1’, she might call it. She never let anyone rule her personality or free-will. She was unmistakably CJ through and through. Though life didn’t always deal her a fair hand, she gladly went all-in to make the best of it. To family, Chantelle was always emanating with unrivaled love and energy. To friends, she was CJ or Ceej Tank, a free spirit with an unusual bounce in her step, always ready to take on her next adventure whilst dragging you along. She loved her family and her friends as family and proved to the world that no matter who you are, where you’re from, or what you’ve done, we are, in the end, all equal. Everyone has their own story to tell, and Chantelle told hers with such colour and vivid allure. Taken far too soon, the mark she has left on us is unforgettable now and always. She will be missed by so many, as we are left to carry on her legacy; physically, mentally, and spiritually, as she continues to live on in all of us. Her departure from our world serves as her next journey that will likely be documented in ‘The Adventures of Ceej Tank: Volume 2’. Although it’s already been a year, it still feels as if it was yesterday when she was smiling, laughing, and dancing next to us. That is the profound effect she had on every life she touched. It is her energy that will continue to flow through us, stronger now and for eternity. Love your mom, brother and sister.

We enjoyed the sharing holiday visits at the home of Chantalle's Aunt, Angela Flynn. We were told that Chantalle would take up the artistic work of graphic art and she had the talent for dressing with artistic flare. May her soul rest in peace through the mercy of Jesus Christ. Words cannot express my appreciation for all of those who celebrated CJ's life. The numerous text, emails, cards, phone calls, and visits were overwhelming, comforting and confirms how many lives she touched. Next time you dance, think of her. Next time you draw, think of her. Next time you look at the sky or the stars, whisper I love you. A very special thank you to my husband Robert for being by my side day and night and keeping me strong. Thank you to my daughter Tania, son Jayse, sister Karen and her husband Ghislain for listening and offering a shoulder to cry on. My family wants to thank Reverend Don McIntyre for his comforting and inspirational words. Thank you to my son Jayse for his touching videos. Your love for CJ has touched my heart. A special thank you to CJ's friends Scott, Jinx, cousins Vanessa, Erica and brother Jayse for their hearfelt eulogies. My family wants to thank CJ's Aunt Angela for the beautiful art work on the her Urn. Thank you to all our family and friends for all of your love and support! To the Mosaic Centre staff, I want to commend you for your professional and compassionate memorial service. Thank you to the St Boniface Hospital staff for your efforts to save CJ. It will never be forgotten! And last, but not least, Thank you Chantelle, my baby girl for 31 beautiful years. You will forever be in my heart, I will see you in my dreams!
